Perth Theatre.
Every year, Perth Youth Theatre presents a main stage production. Supported by a dedicated professional team, they provide a professional experience for the youth cast involved. Into the Woods marked not only their debut musical but also their most ambitious production yet.
We assembled an incredibly talented ensemble who worked with us every weekend over five months to create this production of Into the Woods. From dissecting the deeper meaning of the piece to experimenting with the use of narrators, framing the story, and drawing inspiration for the set design, the cast was integrally involved in every creative decision.
I am immensely proud of this production, the remarkable cast, and the entire team. It’s rare to be part of a process where genuine magic is created right in the room.
